Scott Brown on Hannity
Friday, January 08, 2010 at 5:16 pm
The GOP candidate in the Massachusetts special election for Senate will be on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show tonight, according to David Bernstein of the Boston Phoenix.
This is all becoming extremely reminiscent of the conservative push for Doug Hoffman in NY-23: After flying under the radar for weeks, he became a cause celebre and made the rounds on conservative talk radio and TV. The timing may have been off; Democrats portrayed him as a tool of extreme right-wingers, and they ended up surging from behind to win the race. The difference in Massachusetts is that Brown, who’s always had major party backing, started organizing on the ground much earlier than Hoffman. The other difference, however, is that Massachusetts is far safer Democratic territory than NY-23.

I heard S Brown over the radio on Hannity and he is extremely articulate. If only he could get more air time over the radio and preferably on TV, with his good looks, particularly in Mass. he could get elected. That will also help bring the number of Democrats in the senate to below felibuster level.

Brown is exactly what we need both in Massachusetts and in Washington, and I'm casting my vote for him on the 19th.

Going on Sean Hannity will not help Scott Brown in Massachusetts – if he had any sense he would avoid people like Hannity and stick to credible, mainstream conservatives.
He is an empty suit, Mitt Romney Part II and there is no way he is going to win.

Massachusetts voters do not vote on looks. They are a lot smarter than that. Just going on Hannity would be enough to lose my vote.

I saw it, another lame, soft-ball interview. This will go down as another check in the loss column for the conservative/tea party

And what a firm, well-rounded set of buttocks Mr. Sexy of 1983 has, too.

I live in Massachusetts, too, and I can't stand him. The last thing either the country or the Commonwealth needs is a teabagger ally who yells at teenagers because they were nasty to his little girl on Facebook.

Since when does Massachusetts vote on how good looking a candidate is? I can't think of anyone in the state Congressional delegation who's especially pretty. Just because Scott Brown posed nude for Cosmo in the early 1980s doesn't mean the voters will overlook his stance in support of torture or his meanness to high school kids.

Hi Ellid, well, you may not be aware of what happened (I prefer to believe that than that you are intentionally misrepresenting the facts), but Scott Brown was reading the exact words of the teens that had written vile things to his daughter. Now, if the language was a bit off-color, and I agree that it was, can Brown really be blamed for it, as he did not write it, they did. He read their own words back to them. Hardly the same thing as “yell[ing] at teenagers,” right?
I'll overlook your base use of a sexual pejorative on the assumption that you are a bit upset that Marty may not win on Tuesday. She may, of course, but then again, she may not.

Indeed, one cannot underestimate Hottie McAwesome's amazing good looks. So much more appealing than the alternative in that and every other way. Go BROWN!!
