I get the sense that Clark was not really attacking McCain's youth and using that as a measure of his presidential qualifications, or lack thereof, but rather I think McCain has painted a picture where he, as a military man, intrinsically has more "real world" experience in foreign relation and national security. Clark was merely pointing out things like McCain's near failure to graduate, and the fact that he really did nothing in the war to get that kind of experience that would enable him to better conduct himself in the realms of foreign relations, and national security. I respect the McCain because of his time spend behind enemy lines, but I don't necessarily thing being a POW and graduating in the bottom 1% of your class qualify you to be commander in chief. I mean the man divorced his first wife after a car accident disfigured her, but not before being adulterous. You tell me what that says about his character.
--
http://www.usvetdsp.com/mcaindiv.htm
