Parker Griffith’s Staff Exits Stage Left
Monday, January 04, 2010 at 9:07 am
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee gleefully sends along news that Rep. Parker Griffith’s (R-Ala.) staff has resigned en masse, rebelling against their boss’s decision to switch from the Democratic Party. The full list: Sharon Wheeler (Chief of Staff), Megan Swearingen (Legislative Director), Brian Greer (Senior Legislative Assistant), Will Crain (Legislative Assistant), Sean Magers (Press Secretary), Arinze Ifekauche (Legislative Correspondent), Chase Chesser (Legislative Correspondent), Mary Lou Hughston (Staff Assistant), Dr. Anjali Shah Kastorf (Congressional Fellow), Leslee Oden (Congressional Fellow), and Andrew Menefee (Intern).
After the initial anger wore down, Griffith’s decision has been a source of Democratic schadenfreude — especially after Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) made a ham-handed play to get another conservative Democrat to change parties and came up short.

And good riddance to all the staff that left. Congressman, there are lots of true, honest Americans out there who will be glad to help you.

Thank God they left that traitor.
They, at least, are following their principles.
Let's face it, the republican party primarily represents old white conservative (racist and intolerant) men who are incapable of critical thinking. The great irony is that most of their supporters are lower income people who don't even realize that the republican party's policies are not designed to help them in any way.
It's sad, but they really are very dumb.

I hope, for their sake, that the DCCC has jobs lined for for the now former staff members. It surely will be a lot harder for them to find jobs than it will be for Griffith to find replacements.
I guess they just got a head start on all the Democratic staffers who are going to be looking for new jobs come this fall.

Yea, it is all racist white people. I can't imagine that the steps taken down the path to super-deficit spending by the Democratic majority government had anything to do with it.

People should be true to their beliefs. “trolls' That is Democrats posing as Republicans, “Dinos” and Republicans pretending to be Democrats, ” Rinos”, are both to be Treated as was Benedict Arnold by the British government. : Noted and ignored. Never to be given command of any unit.
