Chelsea Schilling has published the best WorldNetDaily article in my recent memory, an expose of the many, many, many names that WND Editor-in-Chief Joseph Farah has been called on Wikipedia. To wit:
Wikipedia’s profile page for Farah has dubbed him “homophobic,” a “conspiracy theorist,” “white supremacist,” a “proud member of the Ku Klux Klan,” a “religious nutcase” and “a pioneer in the political uses of psychedelics.”
“He also enjoys chowing down on babies once in a while,” stated one Aug. 7, 2008, entry.
The news value of this is hard to ascertain; the goal WND has in promoting it, harder still. The humor value is, however, very much apparent.

It's even funnier when you check the Wiki history and see that the headlining quotation from December 30 was only on Wikipedia for EIGHT MINUTES before it was removed.
And the August 7, 2008 “chowing down on babies” line? It lasted ZERO minutes. It was added at 19:45, and deleted at 19:45.

Check the IP addresses. It might be someone *from* WND making the edits just to invent the news. They've done it before.

I explain here what this means. Perhaps Weigel should give himself some “thinking time” before posting things; take an hour or two to really try to think things through before opining about them.

Wikipedia is a place to start research, but google or any other search engine seems to be better. The concept of Wikipedia was a great idea but has proven flawed.

WorldNetDaily is more of an online gossip magazine which places it focus on politics. No one hates WorldNetDaily, they just don't trust its impartiality.

Unless you believe that Joseph Farah and Sarah Palin is the same person. If that is the case you have more serious issues to worry about.
