Clearly enjoying the attention he’s getting for his aggressive attacks on the Obama administration’s handling of terror threats, Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) takes to Twitter to declare victory:

That’s not quite what happened — the administration has admitted breakdowns in the system — but Hoekstra’s on a roll.

Give him time. Like all other right-wing crybaby regurgitators, he'll trip over his own tongue sooner or later.

I only hope someone will have a pacifier ready when he starts to howl.

repubs like hoekstra care more about destroying the obama presidency and putting repubs back in power than about anything else, including the health and welfare of the american people. it's all a game to them, and it's all about who wins the game. they're predators, lying in wait for an opportunity to taint. we should all be outraged, as taxpayers, about paying the salaries of these slimy sorts.

his twitters sound like something the garden-variety wingnuts, like we see around here, would come up with—what a douchebag.

How does someone so clearly insane get elected to the House of Representatives?

The question is, how do you wage “war” against a synonym? The Cheney/Bush axiom has never struck a chord with me for that very reason. “war against terror” is such abject nonsense, and Cheney used this country's ignorance of English parlance to great effect, scaring the H**l out of everyone (seems some dummies are STILL scared, by the looks of it).
Just call Bulls**t every time you hear that “phrase”, and point out the obvious lack of clarity to it.
Hoekstra will gaff sooner or later (judging by how desperate the right is, it'll be sooner, I expect), when all this is resolved, by Obama's handling of this obvious garbage.
