Thompson Calls on DeMint to Lift TSA Chief Hold

How long will Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) go after the Northwest Airlines Flight 253 incident before allowing the Transportation Security Administration to have someone running the place? Chris Good at The Atlantic has a statement from Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), the chairman of the House homeland security committee, calling for the administration’s nominee to run TSA, Erroll Southers, to receive an up-or-down vote in the Senate:

Erroll Southers, an experienced, highly-qualified nominee, continues to be held up in the Senate by someone who obviously puts process ahead of progress.  If TSA is to become the kind of nimble, responsive organization the American people deserve in times like this, it will need a Senate-confirmed administrator.  If nothing else, the events of last week highlighted this lack of leadership.

Remember: DeMint is holding up the new TSA chief not because of any concerns over Southers’ qualifications. He’s holding Southers up because Southers is too pro-labor. Because the last thing you want for the safety of the nation’s airports is for the individuals responsible for their security to earn a fair wage.

Maybe Labor Unions should call themselves “Churches”. They'd gain 2 good things. Tax Exemption and the ALL OUT, no holds barred, SUPPORT of all the Republican Party and the C Street CULT whose “members” are bipartisan. “BREAK THE UNIONS” will become YESTERDAYS slogan.

Spencer please explain to all of us why Jews are so deathly afraid of white, Christian males. Explain how and when you were instilled with this fear. Explain why this fear causes you to write the columns you do, to have the fearful feelings you do, to vote the way you do and to be such a hypocritical racist the way you are.

I would love to meet you in person. I promise that I could make you cry.

Gentile Beck

Rep. Bennie Thompson must have not been listening to the latest news. Sen. Jim Demint (R-S.C.) has recently stated emphatically that he, too, is against signing on Erroll Southers because of his lieing about his account with his
ex-wife's former boyfriend. The problem is Mr. Thompson, he not only did it once, HE DID IT TWICE and even the the FBI charged him with something because of his employment with them.

If Mr. Southers did that back then, who's to say that he's not going to do it again when he has far more authority for delving into people's records. No, I agree with Sen. Demint. Mr. Southers is just too risky for the security that the TSA requires.

Jim Demint (R-S.C.) has recently stated emphatically that he, too, is against signing on Erroll Southers because of his lieing about his own account with his investigation of his ex-wife's former boyfriend. The problem is that Mr. Thompson not only did it once, HE DID IT TWICE and even the the FBI charged him with something back then because of his employment with them. And when he told Congress his tale, he lied THEN!! yet again!!! AND KNEW HE WAS LIEING or else he wouldn't have come up with the rebuttal of his testimony.

If Mr. Southers did that back then, who's to say that he's not going to do it again with the level of security he will have as Director of TSA? No, I do, indeed, agree with Sen. Demint. Mr. Southers is just too risky for the security that the TSA requires.
