Armey: New Health Care Bill’s Threat Is ‘Puny’
Monday, December 21, 2009 at 12:15 pm
On a conference call organized by the Republican National Committee, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey took some obvious joy in the scaled-back ambitions of the Senate’s version of health care reform. The government takeover represented in the new bill, said Armey, was “puny,” pleasing no one.
“They’ve even abandoned their own perverse power objectives,” said Armey of the Democrats. Of liberal activists, without naming names, Armey said that they’re “angry as they could be about how flimsy it is.”

i would really like to find out just what form of health care bill is being votes on. I dont believe its fair to the public that we dont know what is being voted on before its voted on. I dont feel like out congressman are providing their VOTERS proper time to see whats going to happen.

If Armey thinks the fight is over, he can go home. This is FAR from over. The American people will get what they were promised.
The Republicans can stall, delay, filibuster. But come 2010 and 2012, the American people will know for themselves who was working in their best interests. At least the Democrats were working.
