At a Heritage Foundation luncheon today, Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) went off on a bit of a tangent and told conservative bloggers to check out a five-minute segment about him on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show.”

“I’ve grown to like that gal,” said Inhofe. “She thinks she’s saying such hateful things about me, but they’re all true. The things she says she doesn’t like are contrary to the beliefs of 90 percent of the people in America.”

I love his assumption that she is “trying to say hateful things about me”. It never even crosses his mind that telling the truth about him is her intent.
