Pawlenty Knocks Huckabee on Clemency

The governor of Minnesota took to the Laura Ingraham Show — which has quietly become a place for Republicans to dish out red meat and make news — to attack Mike Huckabee over giving clemency to suspected cop-killer Maurice Clemmons. From The Hill’s transcript:
In Minnesota, I don’t think I’ve ever voted for clemency. We’ve given out pardons for things after everybody has served out their term, but again, usually for more minor offenses. But clemency, certainly not. Commutation of sentence, certainly not.
If there was any doubt that the issue was going to dog Huckabee for some time…

Hope it dogs him into 2012 and beyond.
I live in WA., and was incensed that this suspected cop-killer was effectively given a “get out of jail free” card. Huckabee, FORGET about a presidential run! WA. residents WON'T forget this one!
