An O’Keefe/Giles Victory Lap

There’s little dispute that the ACORN sting conducted by twenty-something conservative videographers James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles was the conservative media triumph of the year. The takedown of Van Jones was a real and unexpected victory, but the ACORN tapes may end up bringing down a major liberal organization and tarring several Democratic candidates by association. O’Keefe and Giles were feted in Washington last night at The American Spectator’s annual gala dinner. And here’s one example of how confident they — and fellow conservatives — are that the young journalists are beyond political retribution. They posed for a photo (after the jump) with Robert Stacy McCain, the freewheeling journalist whose occasional blunt talk about race has been used to raise questions about Lynn Vincent, his friend and collaborator who helped write Sarah Palin’s “Going Rogue.”

As I pointed out in comments on his site (whether it sunk in or not), the way McCain should deal with smears like those perpetrated by folks like Ben Smith of The Politico is to point out that they lie about objective facts. As discussed at the link, BSmith has repeatedly lied about simple, easy-to-understand facts. Most people aren't going to trust the opinions offered by those who've been shown to be liars.
The same applies to Dave Weigel; he's repeatedly lied. Not only that, but he wrote about me on his personal site and then – after I signed up and left a reply – he refused to approve my reply. What sort of person would do things like that?
If McCain's reading this, you know what to do.

True. That's why no one believes anything you write.

Tell us more about how interracial couples are revolting and how great slavery real was?

I think Weigel is a leftist operative of the illegimate Obama Administration. He has repeatedly smeared patriots exposing the usurper's Kenyan birth and homosexuality.
This is another example.
I wish the McCain who ran against him last year had the cashews of this McCain.

I wish this McCain would be the Republican nominee next time. He might carry Mississippi or Alabama. That's about it.

Oh, dear Lord, they hate an organization which helps the working poor and minorities and pose with a White supremacist?
I think we know where this movement arises. The Republicans fall to a white, Southern regional party is two cycles away. When Texas goes blue, conservative Republicans go bye-bye

Except that there's plenty of evidence form his own writings: beginning with his disdain for miscegenation moving to his listserv writings and on to fellow employees from the Wash Times complaining about his racism.
You could find this stuff out, if you wished. I'm guessing you'd rather not.
