Im not being an ass by replying but yes I live in NY ans we got our first check this past tuesday, I am sorry about your delay and I am jsut as concerned about the rest of the BS as you guys on here, I dont know the difference but I think its really messed up that people have to wait while others are recieving... then after everyone does recieve it we all have to worry about the dec 31st glitch right after christmas while these congressmen are cozy in there nice hugh houses, while most of us are without everything because the payments werent retroactive.. my prayers to everyone in finding jobs and happy holidays.

"he office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has signaled that Democratic leaders will address the deadline glitch before Congress adjourns for the year."<br><br>Ahhh, excuse me. But in August and September when my benefits ran out and I struggled with the lack of Congressional action on the unemployment benefits extension both Democratic leaders and McConnell, Kyl, Hatch and the Republican genius brigade said there would be no problem addressing unemployment benefit extensions and then THEY held it up. Do for Reid's office to say this will be addressed is total BS. The Repubs will still be filibustering health care reform and we'll never see the benefits extended because none of the senators -- including the Democrats really even though they give good speeches -- actually give a damn. so, thanks for nothing Congress. who elected you anyway, I forget. Oh yeah, lobbyists and special interests you take care of tut sweet while I have no food next Thursday, you know Thanksgiving, where we give thanks for all we have in this great nation.
