I was wrong about this woman. She IS a politician. She has no ethical center, is vain, shirks or outright runs from responsibility (one wonders if she REALLY takes care of her kids, or her kids take care of themselves), and LOVES money. She also lies with the best of them.

She still won't amount to much in 2010 OR 2012 OR any other time. If, in this day and age, all you can muster is beatnik nonsense no one understands, forget public office.

Any vote for Sarah Palin is a wasted vote and a vote that would have gone to an actually electable Reich-wing Repubitug.

But I doubt she'd run for anything, she's a quitter.

She's in it for the $$$ now. Rupert Murdock is giving her wingnut welfare with HarperCollins (a Murdock property) and her numerous Fox News/ GOP TV (also a Murdock property) appearances.

The problem for the Republicans is that they have about 20 percent of the voters. Assuming there aren't many Democrats or independents who are “definitely” for Sarah Palin, she may have a very solid percentage of Republican voters (40-45%) at the outset of the 2012 primaries. Even if she is incapable of winning the general election, she could be formidable in the primaries because she has the “crazy base” of the Republican Party sewn up.
