That is why Obama was probably born a Kenyan-Brit or possibly a dual-citizen regardless of where he was born. The only original BC produced so far is from Kenya. And once adopted as an Indonesian Obama may have chosen to continue as an Indonesian, Brit or Kenyan when he attended Occidental & Columbia in order to get special deals on tuition, avoid draft-registration, be rebellious, etc. We still need to see that BC & college records. Those documents, if unaltered, would clear things up real fast & the birthers would have to tuck their tales between their legs and concentrate on other stuff like the so-called swine flu pandemic. Until Obama comes clean he is an illegitimate prez.

I really don't understand all this speculation about Barack Obama being adopted as a child and losing his citizenship as a result. Children cannot surrender their own citizenship; they are not competent to do so. Only an adult, by a voluntary act, can surrender his citizenship. There is no evidence that Barack Obama ever did so.
Also, how could his stepfather have adopted him when he already had a living father. No country, certainly not one as patriarchal as Indonesia, would simply remove one father and replace him with another.
Barack Obama Sr. would have had to voluntarily surrender his parental rights to his namesake son, and there is no evidence he ever did so. In fact the evidence goes the opposite way. Mr. Obama Sr. continued to correspond with his son's mother all through Barack Jr.'s childhood. He stayed in touch. He might not have been there physically, but he never lost interest in his son. There were photos and letters exchanged over the years. He even visited his young Barack when the boy was 10, staying for a month.
Also there is no evidence that Obama Sr.'s parental rights were involuntarily terminated either. Young Barack's mother and grandparents always spoke well of him to his son and encouraged him to be proud of his father; they never tried to alienate him from his father. Just the opposite. It's highly unlikely they would have tried to divorce the son from his father.
So people who casually declare that Barack Obama must have been adopted ignore all the legal requirements of adoption and the overwhelming deference for the rights of natural parents to their children. A child is not a puppy, to be surrendered and passed along to the next owner. The biological relationship of parent and child is powerful and primary in all nations.

All Obama has to do to shut up the birthers is release his original BC. But he doesn't. Everytime a president has stonewalled the release of documents, tapes, emails, records, phone recordings,,,, anything,,,, whenever a president stonewalls the release of such things it has always been because he is hiding something. So far, 100% of the time, it means he is hiding something. All he has to do is release the original, the one signed by a doctor in hand writing.

Go to whois.net and type in "factcheck.org" and you will see that factcheck is registered to the Annenburgh foundation. Home of BHO and domestic terrorist Ayers. Its like asking the Obama campaign.

All he needs to do is release the original. But he wont. What is he hiding?

Fifteen to twenty people showed up in Manhattan with Oily Taintz to protest against Fox and Bill O'Reilly for calling birthers stupid.

Hannity estimated the crowd was closer to 1.2 million people and he had video footage to prove it.

I don't believe any of this bs about serving your country—-you don't talk like patriots—more like traitors…and I write this while preparing to go to a local service to honor the vets of this country who paid the ultimate price. I salute them, as well as those who currently serve–I give my sincere gratitude to their families. I also note that all Iraq combat vets serving in congress currently are Democrats. I also take note of the outrageously large number of chickenhawks on the far right who talk like you two, but who never dreamed of serving their country: Cheney is their commander, Limbaugh is their mouthpiece and their footsoldiers include Tom Tancredo and countless other hypocrites.
