I propose the following amendment: Any mention of Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) should include "Diaper Boy" between his first and last names.

As in, Sen. David "Diaper Boy" Vitter (R-La.)

So the lede would then read:

"The Senate voted today to end debate on the Commerce, Justice and State appropriations bill without considering the controversial amendment proposed by Sens. David "Diaper Boy" Vitter (R-La.) and Bob "Dead Meat" Bennett (R-Utah) that would have stopped the U.S. Census from taking place without an additional question about each individual’s propensity to wear diapers when consorting with prostitutes."

I propose the following amendment: Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those without citizenship, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.
