GOP lost both Congressional races, including a seat the Dems have not won since 1852. Va has not voted for a governor in the same party as the President since 1965 (that's 11 straight). Corzine should have been defeated by 20 points. Voters in both NJ and VA exit polls approved of Obama in almost exactly the same percentages as they did on election night last year, only this time with a very mediocre Democratic turnout in both states. In short, this election spells big trouble for the GOP and they don't even know it. The BS-shoveling mainstream media, and right wing talk machine will talk it up, because who wins and who loss sells, but what this really means is that, as unhappy as people are with the Dems, they are more unhappy with the do-nothing, nay-saying GOP.

"By all accounts" my sweet butt. Corzine sucked, and that's why he lost. It wasn't a referendum on Obama at all.
