Here’s a somewhat surprising result from the new Fox News poll. Asked which president is “more responsible for the current state of the economy,” only 18 percent say President Obama. Fifty-eight percent say former President George W. Bush. Nine percent blame both of them. Republicans are the only subgroup of voters who blame Obama, and only by a six-point margin of 35 percent to 29 percent.
What’s striking about this is that the numbers have only marginally gotten worse for President Obama in the three months since Fox News last asked this question. In July, it was 16 percent who blamed Obama and 61 percent who blamed Bush. That is, needless to say, not what Fox News viewers hear when they tune into the network. But it’s essential to understanding why the president remains popular and why Republicans are failing to really capitalize on economic gloom.

It's interesting that even Republicans are not blaming Obama for the economy. Almost as many blame Bush.
I bet we would have some very different results if this question was just asked of Fox News viewers.

What other conculsion would a sane person come too. He had control of economic policy for 8 years. It happened on his watch with no appearant warning…so Obama inherited this mess which took a decade to create ( it started at end of Clinton term). It will take years not months to turn around. Folks with brains know this.

I realy don't understand why the article above finds it surprising that most people quite correctly blame Bush for the current state of the economy Everyone knows Bush is to blame. Why does Fox News still not get it. The facts speak for themselves.

“awol” had a budget SURPLUS from President Clinton. “awol” squandered it with tax cuts for the wealthiest 1% of Americans. Remember too, that “awol” DIDN'T protect us and we had 09/11/01 on “awol's” watch. Most Americans are smart enough to know that “awol” was the worst ever for America.

Fox was hoping that time would allow this poll to lean towards Obama. Now they have to bury this poll and order Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Chris Wallace and the rest of the collective brood of liars to never discuss it again until they get the polls to say that Obama is to blame. By next year, they will rehash this poll again until they get the numbers up to blame Obama then all of the Fox shows will be singing in chorus in blaming Obama and overlook the previous polls.

I guess you are assuming the economy will continue to go on a downward spiral – if the economy gets better then wouldn't Obama get the credit? I think, to be a good affiliate marketer is the hardest thing to do as a blogger, you must have huge traffic to get the possible buyer and also you have to build your own audience, because honestly i’ve never made a single sale with my first blog

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future itll do even better in those areas, but for now its a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPods strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
