Considering AQ/Taliban are fighting for their very existence on their own soil, and we're fighting against the possibility that some of them could someday, somehow, kill a few of us... I would be very surprised if they didn't have more at stake, and didn't want to "win" (completely dependent on your definition of "winning" a war anyway) more.

I would say that in 2008 and 2009, Glenn Beck and Barry Dunham together have pointed to the accuracy of Messrs. Barnum and Mencken.
