NY-23: Hoffman Responds to Anti-GOP ‘Dirty Trick’

I asked Rob Ryan, a spokesman for NY-23 Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman, if his campaign would ask the deceptive “Common Sense for America” ad to be taken off the air. The ad, sponsored by a Club for Growth donor, tells progressives to vote for Republican candidate Dede Scozzafava.

“We were as surprised as anyone else,” said Ryan. “It highlights something the voters already know: Dede Scozzafava is the most liberal candidate in the race.”
