Just found out that since I exhausted my benefits on Sept 19, I will not be paid for those weeks from then to November 6th. That means my landlord will now start the eviction process.

The free money should have run out along time ago. At least 1/2 the people could be working but would rather have the free money and COBRA insurance and not have to work for it. People its uemployment benefits not welfare or a retirement program.

iwantyourjob:

There was no retroactive except beginning the day it was signed, in my state the first week I can claim is week ending 11 14 09 but it will be retro back till the 14th of Nov whenever it does come. just keep certifying each week and you will be paid for the weekendings you missed and not to be a bubble burster but as it stands if you are in a state that was going to get 20 weeks dont count on the extra 6 unless they revise it again 14 weeks is tier 3 and 6 weeks is tier 4 but you cant get tier 4 unless you exhaust tier 3 before 12 31 09 which wont happen thanks to our senators, they are talking about working on extending it for the extra 6 weeks and there is some talk of a tier 5. It makes nosense that they dragged it out except to fool us into thinking we would get 20 weeks in the higher 8.5 % states

check out the new blog at:

http://washingtonindependent.com/67159/jobless-...

See you there

there is some info there. at least they could have lubed us up before they tried to screw us

"The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer"
