The one and a half million figure was broadcasted on CBS the day of the march. Police at the scene compared the number with that of Obama's inauguration and told us there were one and a half million. My driver, ex Turkish army special ops brought over by the FBI after 9/11, whose company is under contract with the Secret Service, Congress and the Senate also put the number at one and a half million. Other facts can be corroborated by doing standard research, not just taking one person's word or that of a single group--weigh and measure.

As one of the million and a half 9/12 marchers the facts were never reported. With the exception of about 2 dozen signs demeaning our government and our president the march was attended by all races, creeds, and classes including families from all over the United States. Hotels were full, there was no violence and no police presence. I carries a sign supporting our troops and opposing health care which I feel is essentially welfare paid for by the working classes. As yet, there is no figure from the CBO, other than a guesstimate on a partial plan, which would let Americans know what National Health care would cost. 99% of Republicans have been kept out of the debate, having all their plans rejected--it's no wonder they are trying to record the outrage of 70% of the American people who do not want national health care.
