I am not a fan of Tim Pawlenty and have never voted for him. But I used to think him the least reprehensible of the purported 2012 Republican presidential wannabes. He was a modern day Republican governor, with all that entails, but the governor of a basically bluish state, so he couldn't be a complete asshole. He's now Romney 2008 2.0.

If he wants to contribute to the total crack up of the Republican party, more power to him and bless his efforts. But I kind of miss responsible Republicans and hope for their return. Chuck Hagel will be missed.
