Birther Soldier Makes Good

Back in February, 1st Lt. Scott Easterling wrote a widely distributed open letter questioning President Obama’s citizenship and announcing his intent to join one of Orly Taitz’s lawsuits.

“I implore all Service-members and citizens to contact their Senators and Representatives,” wrote Easterling, “and demand that they require Mr. Obama prove his eligibility. Our Constitution and our great nation must not be allowed to be disgraced.”

Taitz was rapidly propelled to her current status as a kind of gonzo celebrity. But what happened to Easterling? Greg Skilling filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the answer, and found that Easterling had been slapped on the wrist, then … promoted.

1LT Easterling received an administrative reprimand for violation of theUCMJ.

1LT Easterling is currently assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) in the Support Operations Division.

After this incident and subsequent investigation and action, 1LT
Easterling was not involved in any other incidents. As a result, his supervisors recommended him for promotion on his officer evaluation report.

Other birther soldiers have been less lucky.

Has he acutally been promoted or just recomended for promotion?

My question exactly. Also, I know that almost all officers get recommended for promotion on their evaluations – but wording is essential. “Promote immediately” is good. “Promote ahead of peers” is good. “Recommended for promotion” – not so much. Damning with faint praise is a high art in military evaluations.

Well, Officer's promotions have to be confirmed by the President of the United States, as the officer's commission comes from that branch of government. If Easterling doesn't believe Obama is the President, then the only honorable thing for him is to turn down the promotion as invalid.

Yeah, I don't believe he'll do it either.

That administrative reprimand for violation of the UCMJ is going to hurt though

And this from Alan Keyes ref Obama Kenyan-born newspaper articles”…it would simply indicate that some people in Kenya thought (perhaps mistakenly) that he was born there. Kenyan newspaper stories from 2004 (online or otherwise) are no more definitive proof of Obama's birthplace than uninformative birth announcements in Hawaiian newspapers from 1961.
This episode simply illustrates the need for what I and many others have sought:
a Constitutionally authoritative investigation of the facts;
a similarly authoritative evaluation of its results;
And, based on that evaluation, a Constitutionally authoritative judgment of law and fact as to whether Obama satisfies the Constitution's clear eligibility requirements for the Office of President of the United States.”

I'd like to know which article(s) of the UCMJ the Army cited in the administrative reprimand of 1LT Easterling.

Obviously not a felony, nor a serious misdemeanor, to challenge the legitimacy of a standing president, in time of war.

BTW — The Army oath for Commissioned Officers is to the US Constitution, the whole constitution, but not to the President.

BTW — for all of you Obots, who believe Congress passed a resolution just for Obama, there is only one line about him:

http://www.thomas.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.RE…

… “Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii;” …

Nothing about confirming NBC, but a whole lot of ass kissing by 598 fools.

Obots are fun. At some point their drugs will wear off, and they'll want to know how they got here. It was a step-by-step process, playing on the ignorance, gullibility, and lackadaisical attitude, oh yeah add poor reading comprehension skills. Anyhow read this:

Ok, read it twice, and take notes. There's a quiz.

Another chicken Hawk!

Was the $20K fine enough? Maybe when Taitz becomes a real lawyer she will appreciate what just happened. I wonder if she is a mail order bride, just like her law degree? She is perfect reporter material for “Fake News”, where unfounded rumors and innuendo reign supreme , unlike a our US courts of law, where you need to present documented facts, not half baked lies (prepare for more failures).

When flies get too close to the lights they get burned, Taitz just got burned, thing is, like a fly she will continue, no end in sight. Poor little Birthers they are haters not debaters.

A lawyer, dentist, realtor and black belt, wow I must say a JACK of all trades master of none.

And still the man won't produce his real birth certificate. Maybe on January 26th.

Majority Will
Comment posted October 23, 2009 @ 3:43 pm

during the presidential campaign, Obama released a certification of live birth, which is the official document you get if you ask Hawaii for a copy of your birth certificate. There are allegations that what Obama released is a forgery, but state officials have repeatedly affirmed its authenticity and said they've checked it against the original record and that Obama was indeed born in Hawaii.

If that wasn't enough, two Hawaiian newspapers carried announcements of Obama's birth in August 1961. (Read the Honolulu Advertiser's item from Aug. 13, 1961, nine days after Obama's birth, here.) The traditional joke that Birther debunkers make is that his grandparents must have placed those announcements because they knew that he'd want to run for president nearly five decades later. The truth, though, is that the notices are even stronger pieces of evidence than that. Obama's family didn't place them — Hawaii did, as it does for all births. The announcements were based on official records sent to the papers by the state's Department of Health.

Judge Carter is an intelligent man and can see through all this. He is writing an extensive motion to dismiss so even if the DOJ files an appeal it will go no where. The DOJ has found a Judge that is neither scared of them nor will be intimidated. He knows exactly what is involved here. Meanwhile the case will continue.

So far no hospital in Hawaii claims to be Obama’s place of birth. No hospital in Hawaii has produced documentary evidence of Obama’s birth. Why did Queen’s Medical Center kept silent for so long after Obama “wrongly”(sacastic ) name it as his place of birth?
If Kapi'olani Medical Center is the correct one then why did it remain silent for so long when Obama had “mistakenly”(sarcastic) named another hospital? In fact now Obama can name any hospital in Hawaii as his place of birth, the hospital management would do just the same thing. Remain silent.
If Obama were born in Kapi'olani Medical Center in Hawaii as he now claims, his vault birth certificate kept by Hawaii officials would certainly contain name of hospital and signature of doctor, which are good for proving his eligibility. However, instead of allowing it to be disclosed, Obama has spent more than $1 million on law firms to block his vault birth certificate from being disclosed to the American voters.
Only a moronic candidate would waste more than $1 million to block his vault birth certificate from being disclosed to the American voters if it is good for proving his eligibility. Obama is not a moron. He is just a blatant liar who knows that if the vault birth certificate is disclosed, it will only prove he is ineligible.

Guess we will be seeing Obama's docs soon…

Obama's Executive Order 13489 Can't Seal State Records

President Obama signed Executive Order 13489 “Presidential Records” on January 21, 2009. But, he can only control what is held by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), not any stat vital statistic records.Executive Order 13489 states, “(e) ‘‘Presidential records’’ refers to those documentary materials maintained by NARA pursuant to the Presidential Records Act, including Vice Presidential records.”

Hawaii Revised Statutes sets the rules for the state of Hawaii.
Per HRS §338-18 Disclosure of records.

[Hawaii must issue certified copy!]

(g) The department shall not issue a verification in lieu of a certified copy of any such record, or any part thereof, unless it is satisfied that the applicant requesting a verification is:

(4) A private or government attorney who seeks to confirm information about a vital event relating to any such record which was acquired during the course of or for purposes of legal proceedings; or

(5) An individual employed, endorsed, or sponsored by a governmental, private, social, or educational agency or organization who seeks to confirm information about a vital event relating to any such record in preparation of reports or publications by the agency or organization for research or educational purposes. [L 1949, c 327, §22; RL 1955, §57-21; am L Sp 1959 2d, c 1, §19; am L 1967, c 30, §2; HRS §338-18; am L 1977, c 118, §1; am L 1991, c 190, §1; am L 1997, c 305, §5; am L 2001, c 246, §2]

Someone named 'naturalized citizen' enquired about how it was Orly Taitz obtained her degree from an online diploma mill.

This is how it happened:

naturalizedcitizen 45 minutes ago
Where did you get the idea about on-line diploma mill – from comrade trentino's rants?

==========

Actually, Orly, we got it from your own website.

You were too stupid and unqualified to gain admission to an accredited law school; instead, you went to an online diploma mill called The Taft School, recognized as a law school by no one.

Here's what the Taft School says at its own website:

“The Distance Education and Training Council (http://www.detc.org) is a non-profit section 501(c) (6) educational association located in Washington, D.C. It was founded in 1926 to promote sound educational standards and ethical business practices within the correspondence field. The independent nine-member Accrediting Commission of the DETC was established in 1955.”

NOTE: “within the correspondence field.”

Since then, they have gone on to award themselves meaningless 'credentials' from other trade associations for correspondence schools.

Here's what the State Bar of California says on its website: “Taft Law School is an unaccredited law school in California.” Unaccredited, Orly. Do you understand what that means?

SOURCE: http://calbar.ca.gov/state/calbar/calbar_generi

Orly, you are a quack, incompetent to enter an accredited law school in California. Just ask the State Bar.

SOURCE, AGAIN: http://calbar.ca.gov/state/calbar/calbar_generi

And that's how the world knows about Orly's on-line diploma mill.

Thanks for asking!!! We appreciate it!!!

Here's what it's like for the sane people on this board to deal with the nuts, the loons, the conspiracists… in other words, the birthers.

They will never, EVER be satisfied. It is the nature of their fetish that they CANNOT be satisfied. Every fact is simply proof of an even deeper cover-up. Their lunacy is a bottomless pit.

CONSIDER: the great mathematician, Nobel Prize winner, and skeptic, Lord Bertrand Russell, was once giving a public lecture on astronomy.

He described how the earth orbits around the sun and how the sun, in turn, orbits around the center of a vast collection of stars called our galaxy.

At the end of the lecture, a little old lady at the back of the room got up and said, “What you have told us is rubbish. The world is really a flat plate supported on the back of a giant turtle.”

Lord Russell asked, “What is the turtle standing on?”

“You’re very clever, young man, very clever,” said the old lady. “It's another turtle!”

“And what,” asked Lord Russell, “is THAT turtle standing on?”

“Easily answered,” said the old lady. “It’s turtles all the way down!”

Ahhh, crackpots.
