The House GOP Anti-CAIR Press Conference

Rep. Sue Myrick (R-N.C.) has uploaded the video of her press conference with Rep. John Shadegg (R-Ariz.), Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.). “About a year ago,” said Myrick, “I learned that CAIR was trying to infiltrate the offices of members of Congress by placing interns in the offices.” She called for the Justice Department to release documents linking the Council on American-Islamic Relations to terrorism and for Congress to launch full investigation of CAIR’s lobbying activity “to judge if they are in violation of their non-profit status.”

All of the members of Congress speaking at the presser characterized possible CAIR-linked interns as possible spies. “The American people need to know our enemy,” said Broun. “And our enemy are Islamic fascists that are utilizing their religion to foster their radical fascist agenda.”

Ironically, Franks used his remarks to link CAIR to terrorism and encourage Americans to look to “moderate” Muslim organizations like the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, a tiny group launched in 2003 whose activity consists of things like this op-ed from its president M. Zuhdi Jasser.

We, as American Muslims, should be training and encouraging our Muslim-community youth to become the future Jack Bauers of America. What better way to dispel stereotypes than to create hundreds of new, real images of Muslims who are publicly leading this war on the battlefield and in the domestic and foreign media against the militant Islamists.

Godspeed for dismantling this fundamentalist organization and exposing it for what they really stand for.

Down with the Christian Jihadists! Oh, wait.

More bigotry from the right, what a surprise. Maybe they can fap themselves into another Jack Bauer frenzy when they add on the Muslim Atheist Socialist Latte Drinking Liberals.

The FBI describes CAIR as a Front Group Created For Hamas.

Democrat Senator Charles Schumer backs the FBI on their actions in shunning CAIR and has said he knows CAIR has ties to Hamas.

This is not about “Muslims”
That is a childish and blatant misdirection from the issue.
This is about CAIR’s birth from Hamas operatives in the USA.

Anyone associated with CAIR involved in the government is a security risk that needs to be addressed.

Rep Myrick doesn't even have a college degree. Typical garbage from the south. You can't possibly expect any better.
