Howard, the truth is the last 5 to 6 presidents have been just as responsible as McCain. That's what I'm driving to here. Everyone is pointing their finger at one Or two people. The one you like is just as complicit as all the others. Would it make you think any differently if you realized that Clinton placed several folks high up in Freddie and Fannie Mae to make sure his "Dream" was realized of greater home ownership. This just didn't happen by chance. He was directly responsible for LOWERING the elegibility requirements so people who really should not have qualified now could get a loan. Also during his adminstration, they allowed Freddie and Fannie to pass the debt on, instead of owning the debt as they had in the past. This allowed them to pile up the bad debt instead of having a ceiling of what they could loan out. John McCain had his Keeting 5 involvement, Obama received so much money from the croonies At Freddie and Fannie Mac. You think that was b/c they thought he was a great leader? WAKE UP.....they are all crooks....don't blindly follow rhetoric...follow the facts.

P.S. Saranac7 - Almost forgot. Repubs and Dems both have to win this crowd (Independents) over in order to win this election. It's just a fact. So before you use your texting (Laugh my a** off) again, think hard about how your reply so as not to push people away from where you want them to vote. Think of us as cattle you want to steer. How do you convince us to go where you want us instead of us speering you with one of our horns.....I'm looking forward to your inspiring intelligent response. Oh, your odds are 50/50 right now.

Saranac7, Beleive it or not, I am Independent. I really think it is picking between worse and worst with McCain and Obama. All things being equal it is obvious to me the level of McCain (negative) digging being done is not proportional to what Obama is experiencing. (Look at this news site....) There are many things I really think are obvious (negative) about him as well that are not being talked about at all. Kinda feels like we are being steered in a direction. I don't like being steered. Thus Independent ......might want to try it. Kinda also noticed you didn't question the core of my point. The facts are the facts. McCain is not as good as he portrays at foreign policy and Obama DID support a bill for K-12 sex education. Research before you respond.

Lies is a very strong word, and if you TRULY look at the bill Obama supported in Illinois, it is not a lie, even confirmed by the author of the bill Obama supported You need to get the REAL facts straight. For the record, I support neither McCain or Obama. The media is distorting reality in ways I never knew were possible. I also am puzzled at the amount/ number of articles in the MSM portaying McCain in a negative light, and the lack of the same scrutiny of Obama. Are we giving this guy a free ride? Sure seems so to an idependent mind.
