Senate Confirms Petraeus

Not that this is any surprise, but the full Senate just confirmed David Petraeus as the next head of U.S. Central Command. Approval of Ray Odierno has probably happened by the time this post goes up. It’s a counterinsurgent’s world. We’re just living in it.
