Yeah, except that he’s right. That’s not a slam on Obama, who ran an
excellent campaign. It’s just saying that the financial crisis sealed
the deal for the Democrats.

Instead of psycho-analyzing Clinton’s motivations and pretending to read his mind, why don’t you debate the argument he’s making or is it beyond your pay grade? His point is that it was wrong for the Bush administration not to rescue Lehman Bros when the company went belly up on September 15, 2008 because the company collapse had a domino effect on the market and consequently, this impacted the November presidential elections. But when AIG ran into problems, The Bush administration bailed them out on the ground that the company was too big to fail. Leave the psychobabble to the professionals and stick to the facts.
