Facebook Campaign Held to Stop the Afghanistan War

Simon Owens reports on a “vigil” being held on the White House’s Facebook wall by progressive Afghanistan-war opponents. A message posted by vigil attendees reads: “This week’s anniversary marks 8 years of war in Afghanistan, and I’m remembering those who have died. Bullets don’t win hearts and minds. We need a better plan for Afghanistan, end the war.”
The effort’s communications director explains that the move is a form of counter-pressure to balance escalation proponents:
“It’s a vigil, and the reason we chose a vigil is because a lot of our members support Obama,” Communications Director Reva Patwardhan told me in a phone interview. “A lot of progressives support Obama, and we actually think that of all the people who could possibly be president he’s the most likely to do the right thing. But he’s going to need a lot of public support in order to push him in that direction, and the fact is that he’s actually considering an array of options for what he’s going to do in Afghanistan. The commander in Afghanistan, General [Stanley] McChrystal, has asked for 45,000 more troops. There’s a huge amount of pressure to give him that. We’re asking [Obama] not to give in to that pressure.”

Well, the good news is that war is essentially over no matter what Obama decides:

Of course, that doesn't mean that his decisions won't have a large impact on how many casualities there will be before the end is official.

What a best idea and a good thought in the internet, Please read the following facts:
- If Obama know about the faith of islam he should stop the war in Afghanistan,
If he remember the invasion of Russian he should stop the war in Afghansitan,
If he want to improve US economy he should stop the war in Afghanistan,
If he realy believed on Democracy and if he realy member of democratic party he should stop the war in Afghanistan.
If he realy want friendship between Moslims and American he should stop the war in Afghanistan,
If he reasly love his solduers he should stop the war in Afghanistan.
If he realy has simpathy with children, women and innocent strangers he should stop the war in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan is a very miss place he selected for war he will never win.
