TWI’s Phoenix-based reporter John Dougherty says Sen. John McCain is in trouble in his home state. In June McCain included Arizona on his list of battle ground states. A new Zogby poll confirms it’s in play.

It’s still too early for predictions but the ’08 elections are shaping up to become the GOP’s worst nightmare. Not only does retaining the White House appear to be a pipe dream but the bloodiest Republican carnage will come in the House and Senate.
It’ll be like the GOP’s own private Hurricane Katrina.
