He does not see the obvious importance of the media. I'm not talking big name corporate outfits. It's the little places, like this, where the truth is discussed and the real facts come out. There's a reason Communist countries have state run media, and calling the media simply a "filter" belittles the whole idea of free speech as Americans. It's our inalienable right to question the government that gives democracy its power. John McCain must have about as much grip on the idea of democracy as Palin does of the Bush Doctrine.
