Thanks for the reply. I could never be mistaken for a defender of the CIA, etc., but I've always found the prewar intelligence be a convenient way for B teamers and their allies to shift blame to the intelligence community, rather than the previous administration and Tenets' acquiescence to them.

Indeed, but doesn't that elide over OSP, WHIG, Cheney & Co.'s visits to Langley, al Libi's and Zubaydah's “confessions,” and flat out ignoring conflicting opinions from CIA and State?
