Well, Dave, if I may adjust one of your sentences to read correctly:

Makes sense to me. It's an interesting example of how Tapper gets stories by paying attention to libertarians and conservatives.

The point I was trying to make – via Twitter in 140 words or less – was that the ORIGINAL, redacted documents Treasury coughed up cited a $100-200 billion cost estimate. When Treasury subsequently sent us the unredacted documents – on Friday afternoon – it turns out their estimate was a possible $300 billion a year cost. The Tapper-Jaffe write-up mentioned the former, not the latter. Hence, my Twitter prod.
