The evidence shows the Honorable Gentleman from the Great State of South Carolina is either unfazed by or ignorant of the facts. South Carolina voters approval of their Representative will increase if they learn this information.

Ok Irish, you are getting behind in this Great Written Document since Obama is now planning to LEGALIZE the immigrants by giving them amnesty and they will then be eligible for the healthcare. Don't be hung up on Joe Wilson; he just opened the can of worms, rather like the two young people who opened the can of ACORNS. Keep researching; you are doing fine. <Confusion> I thought we agreed to stay on topic. The original post was for people supporting Wilson for shouting a deliberate falsehood. I demonstrated that Wilson is lying, but he is only a sideshow. My point is that a large segment of his constituency is proud of supporting any opinion that comes out of a Republican mouth, regardless of meaning. I spent 13 years active in the Air Force from 1955 to 1968 until I got fed up with the whacked out Nuts who were at the Base gate of my last station on many occasions of my last peremanent base. I will not go into what I did as it was very sensative and What I did. However it did concern the Titan II , the lasrgest missle in the SAC inventory at the time. I was almost blown up in an accident on two separte occasions. I did finish my time out in the Air Force reserves for a total of 35 years, The Long hairs and Peace Freaks were discusting in their insults. Yes Henry, I agree with you wholeheartedly; I would like to thank you for your service to our country despite the incredible derision and thanklessness that your particular generation has suffered. All of the males in my family served faithfully in various sections of the armed forces from the beginning of our country up until the present. Yes, We in S.C. do have problems with education in our schools! Unfortunately, we are inundated by folks from Washington, Boston. New York and all points north (as examples) who use our schools (approximately 20-25%) as d dumping ground for the little innocent children born out of wedlock. They come at two different times of the year! Usually in August just before the start of the school year and later in the school year when the Baddies are kicked out of their schools and dumped in our schools after they have been expelled for crimes as just plain criminals! The first group are the one that are born to unmarried or from disfunctional couples who have have reclessly had these children with no concern for their welfare. All are the one dumped on Auntie, Uncles, Granparenrs and others who are caring enough to take care of them. I know what I am talking about as I worked as a Baliff in the Family court system for years. I have seen the infuence and blantant disrespect for the Law that these Young Hoodlums and their Gangs have on our School system. Please go preach your venom to those responsible for thes misgivings to these children! Parden my spelling. sometimes the brain and the fingers get tangled up !

Henry Stevens, You are right; good for you for standing up for SC. I have lived and worked there and know what you say is true. Children who live in the "Coastal Empire" have to be sent to private schools, academies, etc. to get away from the ill-bred "otherlings" that go into the public schools. This also happens in other states, mostly southern.

Such sentiments would be expected from the state of South Carolina, a state that gave us Strom Thurmond, and continues to gift the nation a populace schooled in one of the nation's worst educational systems.

Ok Irish_Wake, One more time: #1. I do not know what "kill boards" are -- or maybe you misspelled that. #2. Many bills before Congress are referred to as "kill bills" and are discussed often, even online. Look them up. You, in my humble opinion, need to look for your own info in many places and do not believe someone else's words are true until you prove to yourself they are true. For instance, find out exactly what the Islamic religion is about and don't take obama's description to heart. If you like it, take it; your belief is personal but that religion is nothing like mine. I was going "easy" on obama to refer to his words as "muslim leanings" when he actually said: If you take all the American Muslims, you would have one of the largest muslim nations....etc. Not so...we have more or less 6 million muslims here. Agreed, this has veered way off topic. If this bill does indeed specify that illegal immigrants are to be covered at my expense, it should be defeated. We should also reform the current system that ensures illegal immigrants receive treatment at local hospital ER's, those expenses are absorbed and handed on by the hospital.

Since our current system actually does include cost/benefit committees that regularly deny lifesaving treatment, I don't understand how adopting an improvement is objectionable. Are you not interested in the smears of the present?

Joe is a good guy and told the truth. It is hard for a half-way honest person to sit and listen to lies and manipulations of words which is indicative of Obama. Joe spoke the truth and most of us do not care what kind of smears you want to do to him; he said it and he spoke the truth. Joe Wilson has apologized enough for his outburst, and I agree with what he said. President Obama is LYING. Joe Wilson just said what we are all thinking when Obama gets up to give another one of his speeches. Obama has lost all credibility with the American people!! Joe Wilson should NOT apologize again to those premadonas in Congress, such as Pelosi, Reed, Schummer, Dodd.
