It's not the rationing (getting between someone and their doctor) that bothers them; it's getting between someone and their 7-8-9 figure salary/bonus, return on investment, or campaign contribution that bothers them.

I was wondering when Rep. Kucinich would pop his head up into health care reform. He was actually my primary choice for president in 2008, but I think he is more effective in the House.

It's amusing to me when the people on the right start talking about public insurance getting in the way of you and your doctor, and also the entire rationing care argument. Don't these people realize that this already exists in the private plans. Can't they fathom that a for profit health system might not have patient care as its top priority? Or are they too blinded by the neo-liberal rhetoric that the invisible hand is the best driving force in any situation. Their mantra being "Laissez faire or die, bitches."
