He'll be the new daring of the GOP! He'll be on Glenn Beck tomorrow night.

Joe Wilson is totally lacking in southern gentlemanly qualities. His outburst against his President tonight was disgusting, rude … and I suspect racist. I hope he is defeated soundly in his re-election campaign. I'm certainly contributing to his opponent.

First Mark Sandford and now Joe Wilson. South Carolina, you make the GOP proud. Keep it up. Please. This is great. Can't wait to see your face plastered all over the news tomorrow Joe. Maybe your website will be back online tomorrow

Interesting how much internet gab is defending Obama instead of Cong Wilson.
It's amazing at how little attention is paid to HOW MUCH this administration lies.
All of them. Cabinet Secs, pr people, staff, the man himself. They are constantly lying.
I don't see anything wrong with the congressman's outburst. It is simply understandable.
Possibly the problem is there should be more of it.

C'mon, people.
This sort of thing is part of the national discourse. It's happened before, and the country hasn't faltered because of it. Of course Wilson WAS wrong, but not any more than those who made these ridiculous outbursts previously, in our history. Remember folks, the First Amendment. This kind of thing was expected. After all the bulldukey slung around this last month or so, did anyone REALLY expect the Repubs to do any less?
As for lying……Why does everyone think that this is something new in Washington,D.C.? Or in any state capital? Or Mayor's office? It's practically their sworn duty to do so.

Imagine it was a Democrat calling Bush a liar when he was saying Iraq was a threat to us…

aka Joe Wilson (not even his given name) is more ignorant than I thought! High School Teens in a boring assembly behave better ~ what a kook. By the way “Joe” Christians right wing or left should always have heart…..

Joe Wilson was elected to represent the people of South
Carolina. He is a poor excuse and example how a leader should behave. I sure he had many opportunities to communicate his stance on Health Care Reform. US elected officials who represent OUR country must be held accountable for their behavior; afterall, we instruct our children to repect authority figures, parents, teachers, policeofficers, mayors, state reps, congressman, any yes the man who holds the highest office in our country. Yet, this poor excuse for a leader of the state I was born in behaved like a gutter alleycat. I believe this was planned, those seated around him did not have a surprised look on their stone faces. This is the most self-serving bunch of so-called Public Servants I can recall in my adult life. For 51 years I have never missed voting in any election; and God willing I never will miss the opportunity of have my voice heard. I see the Republican Party as nothing short of a bunch of racist, red-necked mongrels who don't give a damn about the people. Whereas, President Obama's character, his record speaks for him…he has always been about the people. What he could do to lessen the burdens and give ALL AMERICANS a choice, an opportunity for a better life and make this great country of our the very best it can be is his mission. Joe Wilson, you are not a hero, you are an ignorant zero.

I'm sorry.
Everyone is acting like Joe Wilson is some sort of child.
He is a responsible person releceted 5 times. It is no small thing to run a sucessful
congressional campaign.
The problem in NOT Joe's outburts. The problem is Pres Obama and his habitual lying.
I would be angry as well if i had to go to work to a special meeting at night and the guy
that called it started lying to me. I could just as well stayed at home.
Pres Obama is the problem here. More people should heckle him until he at least
tries to be more straighforward.

Wilson is the evidence of what happens when brother and sister have kids. Simple as that.
