mament,

Same old crap. You had no solutions in your diatribe. The man spoke of improving the state of this nation. After eight years of killing foreigners in their own land, the bush administration did nothing for US!

Remember, if you're not part of the solution, you are the problem. Considering your litany of complaints, I suppose your position is clear. You have to stop watching Beck/Rush/Hannity/O'Reilly. THEY are the subversives. Or do you think creating an insurrection for no good reason is American? Has anything in your ridiculous litany come true? Exactly my point.

The Democrats won the last election. Soundly and fairly. It looks as though the Repubs will lose a few more seats in 2010, so I wouldn't pop the cork on the champagne just yet. Your whiny, trash talk just confirms to all that the Repubs are not fit to run this country just yet. In fact, maybe not for a looooooooooong while. So, keep it up!

He must truly be The Anointed One! Only The Messiah could work these kinds of miracles!
1.	Add health insurance coverage for 47 million people while increasing the quality of healthcare without adding doctors and without rationing.
2.	Add health insurance coverage for 47 million people, but not provide coverage for illegal aliens, 15 million of which are included in the 47 million. I guess The Messiah will bless illegal aliens and POOF - make them legal aliens forever indebted to him and the Dumbocrats.
3.	Force insurance companies to reduce deductibles while reducing premium costs at the same time.
4.	Force insurance companies to eliminate major medical caps while reducing premium costs at the same time.
5. Force insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions while reducing premium costs at the same time.
6.	Reduce “waste and fraud” in Medicare without cutting services. Maybe this is not a miracle if you consider providing medical services to anyone over 55 as “waste and fraud”.
7.	Spend another 4 trillion dollars without raising the national debt. Geithner may have to help with this miracle by borrowing the 4 trillion dollars from China and then monetizing the debt.
8.	Spend another 4 trillion dollars without bankrupting America and causing the emergency crisis that will allow The Messiah and his Czars to take over the internet, shut down the airways (except for public radio), and take control of everything else the administration doesn’t control yet.
The only honest statement The Messiah made Wednesday night was that he would not take one dime out of the Medicare Trust Fund. He will live up to this promise because there is not one dime left in the Medicare Trust Fund; Washington has spent it on pork.

[...] “A Passionate Appeal to Salvage the Impossible,” is by Mike Lillis at The Washington Independent (9/9/09). This excellent article features quotes from the President’s speech combined with tight little bits of background clarification. For example: Early signs, however, indicate that the Republicans are ready to continue fighting the Democrats’ plans. When Obama took on the GOP myth that the Democrats’ proposal would cover illegal immigrants, for example, Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) screamed, “You lie!” Responding for the GOP afterward, Rep. Charles Boustany (R-La.), a physician who’s accepted more than $1.2 million from health and insurance interests in the past five years, blasted the president’s vision with the popular conservative criticism that it proposes a government takeover of the nation’s health care system. And, most importantly, Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine), an influential member of the Gang of Six, issued a statement afterward saying she “would have preferred that the [public plan] were taken off the table.” [...]
