Give it up. The issue Is D.O.A. on the senate floor. Even Democrats are starting to realize this.
With the uproar over Health care, Most of wich is from Citizens concern that illegal Aliens may find a loop-hole to exploit the system (such as not being required to prove Citizenship when applying) the message is becoming very, very clear,..There are a whole lot of voters in this country of many backgrounds who are not buying this nonsense. And if You think risking Your political career is worth pandering to one ethnic group and their demands,…Try it. See ya at the polls.

I find it hillarious how 'leftists'–who claim to defend the environment–want MORE immigration. Mass immigration is THE cause of urban sprawl, loss of natural habitats and farmland, and stress on freshwater supplies, PERIOD. The only sector that benefits from mass immigration-fuelled population growth is the real estate and homebuilding industry (you need warm bodies to keep the housing bubble inflated).
