Maybe it should be “McLame”. Every thing the McPalin duo reports is totally false or a lie. “Country first”, my eye.” 23,0000 at the meeting.” yea, right. Been to other countries, in your dreams. “We're Mavericks!” only in the true sense of the term, a cattle-russling idea-stealing tinhorn. The McPalin disastrous duo is worse than anything Bush could imagine. They're not even president and VP!! And are spinning yarns faster than on old Massachussetts sailor.

For someone who was once considered an honorable man, John McCain has proven us all wrong. He is now a dishonorable man who has become an habitual liar, and embraces the same character assassination techniques that Karl Rove used against him in 2000.

His wife and his VP candidate lie with impunity as well. They're exactly like the Bush administration.

The #1 scripted TV show in America is “Desperate Housewifes”. What does that say about the values and intelligence of the average American? I believe substance is much, much more important in selecting a president, but I've never watched even a single episode of “Desperate Housewives”. It's one thing to want to believe that American voters are as smart as they should be, but it's still possible to make a case to the vast majority of Americans that isn't complicated or nuanced in shades of gray. Sending American jobs overseas is something that even the lowest IQ voter can understand. Obama needs to find more black and white examples of McCain's record that are so easy to understand that the people who watch “House” and the people who watch “Desperate Housewives” will be able to easily recognize that McCain has been in the pockets of corporate lobbyists for decades.

Republicans don't seem to have any shame or honor when it comes to negative campaigning. From voter suppression to whisper campaigns to events like the “Brooks Brothers Riot” to the lies that got us into BOTH Iraq I and II, Republicans put PARTY FIRST, not country.

The worst part are the people who recognize the lies and deception, and participate in it, in some gleeful expression of loyalty to their masters… who post messages on left-leaning websites dripping with contempt and superiority, full of words like “libtard” and “moonbat”. They really have taken this on as some kind of “MY SIDE GOOD! YOUR SIDE BAD!” emotional cause, like a favorite football team or an abusive boyfriend. It's scary, because when enough people are encouraged to act like Republicans have been acting, there's no telling how far a civilization can sink…

Ari, I watched a video of your interview & political analysis yesterday with Contessa Brewer and Brad on MSNBC. The video was posted on the HuffingtonPost. I just wanted to thank you for your forthrightness in combating the lies and character assassination efforts by the McCain camp. I'm looking forward with great anticipation to your future appearances on MSNBC and hopefully other news programs as well.

One of McCain's top campaign team members was a lobbyist for Airbus, the European conglomerate that McCain favored over Boeing for several billion dollar air tanker contract. McCain initially blocked Boeing's bid in committee in favor of Airbus.

The wheels are going to come off the McCain / Pain straight talk “express” during the debates. He's a complete gaffe machine and she's out of her depth on most policy issues. I wonder if she realizes deep down that she was selected for the VP slot for her looks. She's probably too vapid to care.

Obama got flack for not having a flag pin, so why shouldn't McCain?

McCain “lied about lying” on the View today. He said his ad claiming that Obama called his running mate a pig was “not a lie” — what a giant wrinky D-Bag! His answer to why his campaign has become so negative is because “Obama would not agree to a series of town hall events …” So, he is basically a like a little kid in a candy store who does not get what he wants and throws fit (going negative). I don't think Kerry/Bush had a series of townhall meetings. I don't think Gore/Bush had a series of towhall meetings. I don't think Clinton/Dole had a series of townhall meetings. I don't think Clinton/Bush I had a series of town hall meetings. Etc. and so on. What a whiny, spoiled little baby!
