I called the RNC today to find out who authorized this mailing. I spoke to the Communications Dept. and they told me they had no idea who could have authorized this. Now, my husband was a communications director for many years and he could have easily told you who authorized the mailings sent from his organization. I told them they were either lying or deeply incompetent.
The other tactic they tried was to ask me if I trusted the government because they sure didn't. I asked them why then, were they working for the Republican party. I went on to add that it was odd they trusted the Republican party after we were lied to about WMD and forced by the Republican party into a wasteful war. The guy didn't answer and instead hung up on me. I called them back, but they still couldn't answer any of my questions.
That's the Republican party -- liars or incompetent boobs.

"health care survey that suggested Democrats might deny care to registered Republicans."

If only....actually, are there any left?
If there are, would they admit it?
Now their shit is defined as "unartfully worded"...

Too many questions, not enough answers.

It seems like the Republican strategy is the following:

1. Make continuous ridiculous claims, understanding that muddying the waters makes everyone less likely to want a drink.

2. If any specific ridiculous claim is ever questioned, issue a non-denial denial, then unleash a flood of new misinformation and disinformation.

3. Eventually, enough people will believe the lies you tell and, perversely, start doubting the truth coming from your political opponents.

It's Machiavellian. And it's why I don't respect Republican politicians.
