Crack intelligence reporter Erick Erickson posted that he was hearing “a very credible rumor” that CIA Director Leon Panetta has “dispatched a resignation letter to Barack Obama on vacation.” And what the hell, I figured I’d chase it. People are speculating that Panetta’s on the verge of quitting over the Holder torture probe, a prospect I’ve not found plausible. But who knows, really.
And sure enough. “This report is false, wrong and bogus,” said CIA spokesman George Little.
Erick Erickson: you owe me a beer for the five minutes of my day I have wasted.

Hey, genius? The New Republic reported a rumor that Leon Panetta was resigning last night. Are you just too much of a hack to blame them, too? No, it's much easier to just slam the righty.

come on leon stand up and be a man. stand up and protect the people that protect me, my family and our country. this is all about the bush regime . the facist president can say he did not order it done I believe him like the auto bailout was not political payback to the auto industry and the unions. you guys are the first line of defense. after we are attacked how is he going to blame bush.does american lives that worthless. yes change we got, GOD help us because the anointed one won't
