‘Birthers’ Still Showing Up at Town Halls
Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 3:49 pm
I’ve cooled off on the “birther” movement after the forged “Kenyan birth certificate” debacle killed a lot of their enthusiasm. And one fringe benefit of the popular “Obama joker” poster is that it has been adopted by some of the people, like Alex Jones, who were getting into birtherism. They’ve gone down the “joker” route instead.
But the “birthers” are still out there.
From an August 17 event in Alabama hosted by Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.):

From the president’s trip to Phoenix, here’s a protester named Beth Straley:

I think that’s a black baby with a gift ribbon on its head.

Nothing wrong with pressing the qualification issue while opposing the policies of our Mombasa Messiah.
The plain and simple fact is that the efforts exerted thus far by Barry Soetoro to “prove” his qualification under Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 5 of the U.S. Constitution (and he is a constitutional lawyer, after all) have consisted in total of the provision of two computer graphic images of what is alleged to be a state of Hawaii COLB issued in 2007 and scanned into these computer graphic images in June 2008.
There was obviously need for Barry Soetoro to show some proof of his qualification, and if these computer graphic images are to be believed, a Hawaii state COLB does exist.
So why have the last 13 months been spent by Barry Soetoro refusing – expensively! – to permit that print-on-paper legal document (or the vault information in the Hawaii state government archives upon which it was supposedly issued) examined by an officer of any court of law in the nation?
The qualification issue continues to be evaded by Barry Soetoro, and the “birthers” are quite correct in pressing the matter.

I like how some people argue that the Kenyan birf sirtifikat being exposed as a fake is what cooled off the birther issue.
It was never more than a carnival freak show slash train wreck to begin with. The media only pays attention to issue because of the CRAZY people who make fools of themselves within view of a camera.
The people who were birthers are still birthers. They just doubled down on the stupidity after the Kenyan birf sirtifikat was debunked. Now they're hugging their knees and praying for Orly Taitz to return and lead them to the promised land.
I hope she gets back soon. Democrats could use more free advertising before the mid-term election campaign season heats up.

You think that's a black baby? What was first clue? You obviously missed your calling as an investigative reporter. This President is so transparent he doesn't need to give any information on anything. We should be able to look at him and know exactly what we need to know. I find it amazing that in our educated Country people are willing to overlook whatever they may find (good or bad) just so they can have “their side”represented”. In-actions such as that are very dangerous for this Country.

The bigger the lie the more people will believe it.
