Ben Smith has the not-so-shocking news that FreedomWorks, the chief organizer of a large September 12 anti-tax, anti-spending “march on Washington,” has been charging other conservative groups to sponsor, drop lit, and speak at the event. The new minimum donation: $10,000. Writes Smith’s source:
“Their ‘organizing’ is tending to dominate and overformalize what would’ve otherwise been a more ‘freelance’ protest,” wrote the conservative, who also complained of FreedomWorks’ move to “own” the entire event by controlling access both to workshops and to the march itself.
It’s not that surprising because big events, big conferences, often do this. It’s moderately embarrassing for the event’s organizers because it takes a little green off of the grassroots. But not too much.

OILY Koch Industries wants to defeat Obama on Healthcare to weaken the Climate Bill, so they spend a fortune sneakily under fictitious names. We need complete republican control of this country so we can do away with social security, medicare and other programs for the little people. I am very happy that the little people are helping with the tea parties so we can keep the rich, like me, rolling in $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
