Here’s a sign that Gen. Stanley McChrystal knows how arduous it’ll be for the country to recommend a second U.S. troop increase for Afghanistan this year. According to The Washington Times, McChrystal is considering exchanging some support troops for combat troops, thereby increasing combat capacity while keeping static the total number of U.S. troops.
