Sarah Palin: Hey, Pay Attention to Michele Bachmann

By
Friday, August 07, 2009 at 5:16 pm

It was bound to happen some day. From Sarah Palin’s Facebook account, her newest epistle:

Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the president’s health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the White House chief of staff, in a floor speech to the House of Representatives. I commend her for being a voice for the most precious members of our society, our children and our seniors.

Palin tells her friends to see Bachmann’s speech, which quotes health care misinformer-for-hire Betsey McCaughey, here.

“The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.”

Sarah Palin is exactly right. State run “health care” is rationed care. If you're over 65 or so, they send you to see the “end of life counselor.”

Maybe you should call my mom and ask how she likes her twice-a-day home care visits, weekly in-house nurse checkups and regular visits with heart and kidney specialists. And don't forget to wish her a belated happy 80th birthday. Oh the evils of socialized medicine.

Dude – if you are going to talk out of your ass you should at least wipe it first.

Sheesh.

This is BS. It is absurd. It's been reported by multiple news sources that this story is a lie. The proposed bill says that the government will pay for you to talk to someone about “end of life” issues, ONLY if YOU request it.

The United States currently is ranked about 30th in the world in terms of life expectancy. The United States currently is not the lowest in terms of infant mortality. We are somewhere, again, 30th on that list. Maybe if we did become a little more “socialized,” we might live longer and give our babies a better chance of living.

Canada, one of the targets of right wing claims, ranks better than the United States in both statistics.

Sarah Palin is either extremely ignorant, or she is a damned liar. NO WHERE in Obama's proposed bill does it say that a “death panel” exists or that the government will force you to see an “end of life counselor.” Please show me exactly in that bill where it says this and EXACTLY what it says.

Seems to me most Republicans are like Chicken Little. They all run around screaming, “the sky is falling” for no apparent reason other than to get everyone riled up!!! It is the insurance companies that are evil, they are the ones that tell you whether or not they will pay for a procedure or medicine you need. I understand that if you already have insurance coverage, you can elect to keep it. As for Sarah Palin….I guess since I can't say anything nice I won't say anything at all!!!

while no 'multi-tasker' like the POTUS, i submit that she's BOTH. as she so ably demonstrated on the '08 campaign trail while deep sixing John Sydney McSame III's desperate grab for gold, denied by Rove et al in 2000 in SC with the illegitimate black baby rumors handing 'shrub' the going away lead in the front loaded GOP primary season thus 'anointing' bush the shrub.

The only thing suggested in the health plan is a Living Will. My mother and father had Living Wills, and my husband also had a Living Will, and my children have copies of my Living Will. It simply states that in the event of my near death, I do not want extraordinary measures taken to keep me alive when there is no hope of my recovery. I make the decision, and don't want my children to have the responsibility of making the decision of when to “pull the plug”. Does anyone remember Terri Schiavo? Do you want your life to end like hers? I love my family too much to put them through this, and you should too.

This part of the health plan, where it is proposed that the government pay for people getting advice on a living will, was proposed or co-sposored by a Republican. This section was specifically written to prevent the headaches that might arise in a case similar to Terri Schiavo's case, which included not only arguments amonst family members and lawyers; it involved getting members of congress back to work (ridiculous), spending long hours into the night, and ultimately, wasting a lot of time and money.

It is almost criminal for someone like Rep. Virginia Foxx, North Carolina, or Sarah Palin to say that Obama's health care plan is designed to “kill old people” or have “death panels.” These people should know better….so, once again, they are either extremely ignorant, or they are damned liars.

In truth, that section of the bill would require Medicare to pay for voluntary counseling sessions helping seniors to plan for end-of-life medical care, including designating a health care proxy, choosing a hospice and making decisions about life-sustaining treatment. It would not require doctors to counsel that their patients refuse medical intervention.

Sarah Palin and Michelel Bachmann are two of the most bizzar characters of this decade. Their lack of knowledge, ignorance and absolute stupid logic are influencing many Americans who, like them, lack knowledge and are equally ignorant. The sacrey thing is that many` non thinking' Americans actually believe them, which does not speak well for America. I fear for our nation. They challenge a new Health Care bill, thus many Americans will not have health care. They fear competition. Sad!

Trying to make sense of the town hall meetings which were set up for people to diologue with their representatives, was disgraceful. They were shut down by those who, if they knew better and understood the heath care bill, would benefit from it. Like the Joe the Plumber, they rellish in their ignorance. They are like kids who , when they don't want to hear somethng, put their hands over their ears and make noise to block out information. Zelots like Rush Limbaugh, tell them what to think, how to think and lead them to do violent acts….and they do it.. Using Nazism in thier comments has created a 400% spike in the death threats to the President. This is not the Americia we were raised to believe in. Is this the Talabanization of this country?

2 – You have obviously never read the bill.

3 – Prove that factcheck.org is “biased and unfactual.”

4 – CAPSLOCK is not persuasive. Then again, neither is lying.

Let's see…where to start. How about with Sarah Palin is exactly WRONG! I've had single payer government care for 20 years…not rationed once; every medically necessary care is covered, and it can't be canceled. Can anyone with empoloyer based health care say the same thing.

BTW: Insurance company rations all the time: only 6 physical therapy treatments [RATIONING!]; can't see this doctor or that specialist [RATIONING!], gotta jump through insurance authorization offices before you can get care [RATIONING! 'cause they know that unless people are in a great deal of immediate pain they'll procrastinate, and some will misjudge, and then they'll die. sorry about that!]

It is so sad when people lie to scare other people. It is called telling lies. It is also considered a sin.

F. Tweeting in coded messages that only hamsters understand

If Sarah really wants to see a “death panel” she should seek private health insurance. What she would find is no insurance company would cover her son with Down's Syndrome at any price.

A day in the life of Joe Republican

This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the U.S. Department of Energy.

I then took a shower in the clean water provided by a municipal water utility.

After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC-regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like, using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

I watched this while eating my breakfast of U.S. Department of Agriculture-inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

At the appropriate time, as regulated by the U.S. Congress and kept accurate by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the U.S. Naval Observatory, I get into my National Highway Traffic Safety Administration-approved automobile and set out to work on the roads build by the local, state, and federal Departments of Transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the Environmental Protection Agency, using legal tender issued by the Federal Reserve Bank.

On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the U.S. Postal Service and drop the kids off at the public school.

After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the Department of Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health administration, enjoying another two meals which again do not kill me because of the USDA, I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to my house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and Fire Marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all its valuables thanks to the local police department.

And then I log on to the internet — which was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration — and post on Freerepublic.com and Fox News forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right

Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and Betsy MeCaughey are not talking about Death Panels occurring directly – they mean indirectly. Lyndon LaRoush is the expert on the Nazi T-4 scene – the ladies are quoting him. They are just the messengers !

See http://larouchepac.com

HR-3200, accidentally or otherwise, is written to emulate Hitlers T-4 program. As Glen Beck puts it, the combo of No Money & Crazies in Government caused the Hitler T-4 program. Currently we have a look-alike situation :

- The Nazis printed money without earning it. The Fed are doing the same.
- The Nazis were crazy / genocidal and undemocratic. Obama's advisers are following Hitlers footsteps with regard their thinking. For example, the use of non-elected “experts” to judge who gets health care was what happened in T-4 – that's also allowed in HR-3200
by NOT controlling the important points – very clever.

Also see Glen Beck from August 11, entitled “Roots of Reform” at :

http://www.foxnews.com/search-results/m/2575119…

The 3 ladies mentioned above are referring to Obama's advisers not the resulting
government puppets who come along later and do what's easiest. And slip things in that weren't specified.

Betsy is resigning so that she can keep telling the truth and at the same time keep any flak off her ex-employers lines. She's a well meaning person.

Remember – IT'S WHAT IS NOT WRITTEN in HR-3200 that will damage The People. (A twist from the way legal stuff works).

Also, do search the web for “SwineFlu Corruption”. That's our next challenge, folks.

We have all been fond of office 2007 professional plus furniture haven’t we? With ms windows 7  designs available in all parts of Windows 7 Ultimate, Internet is one medium to choose the best Cheap Windows 7 at competitive prices and that too at a store near your Office 2010 Professional. Below http://hohosoftware.wordpress.com summarize some Microsoft Office 2010 to help you choose the best Office 2007 Enterprise for your corporate as well as office 2007 product key : Generally, while http://hohosoftware.blogspot.com are searching Office 2007 Key, we just type in our window 7  and start browsing the http://peaksoftwares.blogspot.com which appear in the Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise. But here is the Cheap Windows 7 : most of the searches we do without specifying a location with the purchase windows 7 , we end up wasting our time. Let http://peaksoftwares.wordpress.com take an example of windows 7 download . Now people go to Google and type “Windows 7 Ultimate ” and start browsing the Buy Windows 7 . They spend a lot of time finalizing Download Windows 7  but when they decide to contact the Win 7  for the price quotes and delivery time, they generally end up realizing that the Microsoft Windows 7  from which they had selected the Windows 7 , belongs to a different country and the buy microsoft office 2007 cannot export to a their Windows 7 Professional. The simple solution to Windows 7 Professional  would have been, assuming that the Buy Windows 7 buyer resides in India, to search for the keyword “Microsoft Windows 7 India” or “Windows 7 Home Premium  in India” instead of the keyword “Download Office 2010” because when the buyer searched for “buy office 2007”, sites from different countries showed up, microsoft office professional 2010 plus might have had good designs Office 2007 download were not available in window 7 but they were of no use. The purchase windows 7 advantage of using a location such as Office 2007 Ultimate, in case it suits the buyers, office professional 2007 plus can go and checkout their Office 2007 Key and maybe get a better design microsoft office downloads has recently become popular but is not ms office 2007 professional on the website.
