McCain to Filibuster Cash for Clunkers

The opposition to the $2 billion extension of the cash for clunkers program that passed the House today is lining up in the Senate, which is expected to take up the measure next week. The latest critic is Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who told Fox News today that he’ll filibuster the bill.

“I not only wouldn’t vote for the extra two billion, I was opposed to the initial billion,” McCain said.
