‘Wait a Second. Barack Obama Is a Connecticut Vampire?’
Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 10:03 am
Last night, Orly Taitz told readers of her blog that she’d taped an interview on The Colbert Report and expected it to be edited to maker her look silly.
I don’t want my supporters to be disappointed, it is not a Walter Cronkite show- it is a comedy show, the guests are typically roasted and the host is liberal. I have no clue how it will look like and my hotel doesn’t have a comedy central channel, so I will need somebody to record it and send it to me. Please, keep in mind that I’d rather be a puching (sic) bag and get a dose of humility and provide some information to the public, then worry about my ego and self importance and pass an opportunity to brake through the wall of silence of our corrupt main stream media. Any tid bit of information sipping through is better then silence.
Taitz’s commenters agreed with her: “Just like Jesus to get new converts you have to go among teh (sic) Lepers and tonight you did.”
So: Will “birthers” use this as a recruiting film? To the layman, it looks like five minutes of Taitz getting laughed at, making her insane claim that Obama stole his Social Security number from a dead person in Connecticut, and Colbert upping the ante on craziness: “I want to stick my finger in the president’s bellybutton and produce some lint.”

Taitz wound up like she does in her court cases, looking stupid and losing badly.

Just some quick math.
This is the year 2009. Orly taitz claimed that Obama was using a 190 year old Social Security number.
That means the person who that SSN belongs to would have been born in 1819.
Social Security first started making payments in 1937. That means she is claiming there was a 118 year old recipient in 1937?
I call Bullshit.

You have to look at the motivations of the majority of the birthers to understand why they simply cannot “let go”. Fundamentally, it comes down to the following mindset: “I cannot accept THAT man in the White House because…. (fill in the blank).”
Just about ANY reason will do — any excuse that will legitimize their race-based outrage. If it wasn't about a birth certificate, it would be about his middle name. (He's a closet Muslim, you know.)
In addition, there are a handful of unscrupulous politicians and pundits who, although not necessarily racist themselves, have no problem capitalizing on the bigotry of others by fueling their fear and hatred of Obama in order to score political points or further a personal agenda.

Dave, you should put up the clips for both segments on this foolishness. In the first segment, Colbert said, these birthers are “Decent, old-fashioned Americans who just want to overturn a Democratic election.” Though, I wish he had just called them racists.
It's funny that these so-called “patriotic” “Americans” have hitched their stars to a Russian. Had the Democrats lined up behind a ruskie who was doing the same thing to a Republican president, those bastards would have been all over the TV and intertubes complaining and whining about how un-American Democrats are. Hell, Bill Mahr got fired for merely pointing out that Bush was lying us into a war. The Dixie Chicks caught nothing but hell for doing the same thing. Republicans are pathetic and I hope their racist party goes the way of the Whigs! Good riddance!

Orly knows that the birth certificate issue is a loser, so she's trying to switch the argument now. She now claims that even if President Obama was born in Hawaii, he's still not eligible to be president because his father was not a citizen. However, as Mr. Colbert correctly pointed out, that's not in the Constitution, but it was a basic fact that was taught to every child growing up with Orly in the Soviet Union. So, any excuse for these racist, commie-loving traitors will do.

It's one thing to walk around blissfully ignorant of the “kick me” sign taped to your back. It's quite another when you attached the sign to your own back, as Taitz has done.

Yes, but in her case its misspelled and cites wikipedia and was filed by a disbarred lawyer.

A can't believe that people actually take this loony bird seriously. Birthers, let me proudly be the first to say you've been had.

Wow! Now the birthers have a new, seemingly much more concerning, issue to focus on since Orly has outed President Obama as a Vampire…

LOL these birthers are insane. There'll be a crackdown, don't worry. We'll take your guns and put you in re-education camps, you birthers. Then we'll steal your chilluns and force them to marry our colored youngsters. How do you like 'em apples?!? :~O

Well, this was inevitable now that Orly outed the President as a Vampire on Colbert!

To all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true, if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up. I heard Orly Taitz, is selling a tape (I think it’s called “Money, Lies and Video tape”). She is from Orange County, CA, now I know what the mean when they say “behind the Orange Curtain”, when they talk about Orange County, the captial of Conspiracy Theories. You know Obama has a passport, he travel abroad before he was a Senator, but I guess he fooled them too?

I love her shtick about how the U.S. Constitution should be interpreted based on a 1758 book by a Swiss legal scholar. The more conservatives who sign on for using foreign sources to interpret our Constitution, the better!

She said/meant “119.”
Not that it makes the claim any more believable.

It's absolutely stunning how Taitz knows so little about the US Constitution. Yet she was able to con Allen Keyes and thousands of other numbnuts with this crap. She's officially the pied piper of crazy.

I think the funniest thing here is that Social Security, and hence Social Security numbers, are far less than 100 years old.

1. You are trying to revive a thread from last year. Don't.
2. You're wrong.

its sad that people hang onto something like the “birther” issue if not true….I agree….Its also sad that liberals think anyone who dissagrees with the POTUS is a racist….just as sad my friend, just as sad, and ignorant too.

Kevin, just how dumb are you? Social Security began issuing numbers on about Nov. 16, 1936. MANY thousands of people were in the workforce at that time. In fact, if you looked at the online Social Security Death Index, you would find nearly a million people born in 1890 died with a social security number. They didn't start issuing them to newborn babies until the past 40 years or later. Give it a try right here:
http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/
Click Advanced Search, enter only the birth year of 1890, and click the Submit button.
You need to research a bit before opening that mouth again. It doesn't flatter you to make such dumb comments.

Of course, as I found out a few days later, that is true, but I didn't go back to revise my comment. Why? Because this is an internet forum, and the discussion died, as you can see, about nine months ago–probably one day before you were conceived.
I think you need to grow a pair and put your name behind your comments if you're going to call someone “dumb.”

One might note that the “racist” Republican party fought a war to force Democrats to give up their slaves.
