Hang ‘im High

[UPDATE: I've edited this post to reflect new information and correct one fact.]

Daily Kos diarist Chuck Cook has photos of a Americans for Prosperity-sponsored rally against freshman Rep. Frank Kratovil (D-Md.) in Salisbury, Md. The jaw-dropper:

See the photo at Salisbury News.

Yes, that’s Kratovil being hung in effigy. The purpose of the rally: to register opposition to “government-run” health care reform.

Dear God! How are these lunatics considered “Patriots” in any way?

What is happening to our country? Republicans yelling “Kill him” referring to Barack Obama during the RNC. Hanging their own local politicians in effigy because of policy differences! What in the world is wrong with people. We don't all have to agree on the issues, but we should agree that we're all Americans, and that we have a systems of laws, courts, and the right to vote to make change. Where is all this hate coming from, and why?

This is sad, frightening, and threatens to destroy us from within. God bless America, because it seems Americans won't.

Who do you people think you are stealing my photos and posting them on this site? Go here to see the original article and photo/photos. http://sbynews.blogspot.com/2009/07/kratovil-pr…

I happen to believe I was VERY fair and honest about what happened yesterday and the AFP had absolutely NOTHING to do with this protest!

Now, I want you to pull my photo or you will in fact hear from my attorneys. Chuck Cook lied and wasn't even at the event.

Mr. Weigel, this was not an AFP member nor was this an AFP-sanctioned action. We would appreciate it if you would retract that accusation. Thank you very much,

Hm. Mr. Weigel, are your colleagues at Reason magazine aware of what you're doing here?

Or have you removed your name from their masthead already?

Hey Dave, guess what: There's now a memo that's been unearthed showing how the anti-reform people are trying to shut down and harass Democrats: http://thinkprogress.org/2009/07/31/recess-hara…

Well, praise Allah. At least somebody is making an effort to throw some scrap iron into the National Socialist Party's meatgrinder.

Your attorneys aren't going to do anything. You steal so much material that if you had any attorneys they would tell you to shut you mouth and quit thieving yourself. What a moron.
