Senate Shoots Down Thune Gun Amendment

The count was 58 to 39 — two votes shy of the 60 needed to defeat the filibuster led by liberal Democrats.

The bill, sponsored by Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), would have forced states to honor concealed weapon permits issued by other states, even in cases when weapon holders would be ineligible to carry firearms in the state they were visiting.

Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. IÂ’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you donÂ’t mind. Natually IÂ’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
