At Least Thirty U.S. Casualties in Afghanistan This Month

July is the bloodiest month for the United States in Afghanistan since the war began almost eight years ago. The entire defense establishment has warned that casualties would increase with the rise in U.S. troops and the acceleration in the tempo of operations.
