The facts are first the ban has to be lifted. Then we have to wait until 2012 until the leases are up on that land. Then the oil companies have to scout the area for the best places to drill. Rigs have to be built. Only then the oil can begin flowing. Twelve years in the future, I sure as hell hope we are a little more vested in renewable sources, making the offshore drilling campaign all the more useless. WAKE UP PEOPLE! This is ridiculous. I wish people would read the EIA report here:
