Why not address the issue of how many banks have added thousands of dollars to the homes in forclosure by tacking on insurance rates 80% higher when a borrower can't pay for thier insurance.
Wells Fago will not shop for insurance when the borrower fails to buy wind insurance. Instead they will purchase a wind only policy for $7,000 that covers the mortgage holder only and tell the
home owner they have to pay for it. Also when you are trying to modifiy your mortgage they drag their feet so the attorney get it forclosed first.

Mr. President
Why didn't you support cramdown in senate? was that just a campaign trick to get more votes??
Then bad news, you will have a few million less votes next time because you lost those votes in foreclosure!!!
GOOD LUCK in 2012
A California Resident

Why a Bankruptcy Judge?
Why not a Federal Law...
Does it make sense to keep paying a mortgage for a house that its current value is at a 50 or 60 per cent down from the loan balance?
It will take several years for a house in this circumstances to gain some equity, while a nearby house sold at its current value will double its equity in the same period of time.
